This is Me!

Hi!  My name is Leah, and I have the best job in the world!

I like watching movies – on average I have 300 movies in my Netflix queue.  I buy eyeglasses like other people buy shoes.   I wish I had more time to read books.   I love robots and Star Wars and kawaii.  I play piano and aspire to write a musical one day.  I teach photography to middle schoolers.  I love bright colors and wish I could live in Pee-Wee’s Playhouse. Before I was a photographer I worked as a molecular biologist trying to help cure cancer.  I once wrote a ridiculous song a day for an entire summer.  In an ideal world I’d sing karaoke every night.  I miss living in New York City (I miss my friends and the ten minute walk to any Broadway show) but am happy to now live closer to my family.  I am powerless against the powers of key lime pie.  I didn’t set out to become a wedding photographer but am so happy that I did!  I love to meet new people and share their special days with them, and I love to make photos.
