Caitlin and Sam

Allow me to introduce you to Caitlin and Sam.

Cait and Sam’s wedding took place at their friend’s residence in Brimfield, MA. The property was charming – it’s an old farm-y house with a ton of beautiful land.

Cait asked that we take many photos of the reception area prior to the reception itself. Here’s the big picture:

There were so many delicious details, such as strawberry bread favors. I have never tasted strawberry bread, but judging from its appearance it’s the best bread ever.

My favorite detail of all – the place cards! One of Cait’s bridesmaids hung them on a line using clothespins.

After we took a zillion photos of the details (I couldn’t stop myself! everything was so amazing!), we headed into the house to photograph Cait and the girls getting ready. Cait was the most relaxed bride I’ve ever met, and her attitude set the tone for a fun pre-wedding experience.

The flower girl did impressions of a dinosaur and flamingo while having her hair done.

I think Cait looks like a movie star in this photo.

The finishing touch!

The ceremony took place in the yard outside the house.

The weather was perfect and Cait was radiant.

Here are some of my favorite photos of the wedding party. Cait and the girls were so much fun! They were always laughing.

Now everybody! Because this pose was so fun with the girls, I decided to try it with the entire bridal party.

I love them so much that I am going to show you more photos of the place cards! Here they are again during the cocktail hour!

Cait prepared bags of goodies for the many children who were at the wedding. I found these farm animals on one of the tables and was ecstatic. I can’t resist photographing toys! Thanks Cait!

The first dance:

I love this photo of the kids playing in the field during the reception. You can see the fireflies in the woods!

The cake cutting was super entertaining.

This little guy was waiting anxiously for the band to start playing again so he could dance!

I really love this next photo of Cait and Sam dancing – so much fun!

And finally, my favorite from the day. I snapped this photo quickly after I took the photo of Cait and Sam standing on the rock. Cait looks gorgeous, the light is elegant, and I love the contrast between the softness of the grass and the shine of the car.
