Shelley and Scott got married last Friday at the Doubletree Hotel in Bedford, MA. It was super hot out, but that didn’t damper anyone’s spirits. Shelley and Scott are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met, and I’m so happy that they had such a wonderful wedding. Shelley was radiant, the day was beautiful, and everything was absolutely perfect. Thanks to Shawn and Heather for all of their help (especially for getting me water!) and some of the shots below!
Heather and I started off the afternoon with Shelley, who was getting ready at the hotel. Like I said, Shelley was radiant, and looked totally gorgeous.
We then headed out to the courtyard for the ceremony, which was lovely.
When the ceremony ended, we had a few minutes to take photos of Shelley and Scott in the courtyard.
When we were done with the portraits, we headed inside for the reception. Here are a few of my favorite shots of the first dance and speeches.
And here’s my favorite set, the dancing! Shelley and Scott’s wedding was SO MUCH FUN. I ran into Shelley on the dance floor at one point and she said that she didn’t want it to end! I agreed! It was really hard not to join in on the dancing – everyone was having such a great time!
Congrats Shelley and Scott! You guys are awesome, and we wish you all the best!
Anne and Ben got married last weekend at
After taking some photos of Anne with her bridesmaids, we met up with Shawn downstairs at the ballroom (thanks Shawn for some of the shots below!) for the ceremony. The ceremony was lovely, full of laughter and personal vows.
After the ceremony, we headed outside to take some group photos and photos of Anne and Ben.
We then headed inside to the lobby, which was amazing. I think I could have taken photos there for hours!
Here are a few of my favorites of the wedding party – I love the colors!
When we were done taking formal photos, we headed inside for the reception. Up next are some of my favorite details (so elegant!) as well as some photos from the beginning of the reception.
And here are some of my favorites of the dancing!

I don’t even know where to begin with Jordan and Matt’s wedding. Before I was a photographer, I was a molecular biologist. I’ve always loved all things science, and I still do. And of course, being born and raised in MA, I love the
From there we headed to the Theater of Electricity for the ceremony. Could you ask for a better place to get married? No, you could not. The ceremony was fun and emotional, and Jordan and Matt wrote their own vows.
When the lightning demonstration was over, we headed outside to take some group photos and photos of Jordan and Matt. The light was perfect, right around sunset!
I also stole Jordan and Matt for a few minutes of their reception to take some photos of them in the museum. There was no way I was leaving there without a photo of them in front of the Tyrannosaurus Rex!
The reception was awesome. How much do I love the table names? You’ll spot Beryllium below. Side note: When I saw this, I immediately thought “Why didn’t I think of this for my own wedding?” My husband is a chemist and it would have been perfect. Although, I suppose our Star Wars planet table names were also perfect. I digress….. Also please note the steampunk/robot/space cake topper (amazing!), the test tube centerpieces (also amazing!), and the extremely fun parent/family dances.
When it was time to dance, the crowd literally erupted. I’ve never seen anything like it…. they were ready, and they exploded onto the dance floor and never stopped. Jordan and Matt’s DJ was amazing, mainly because he played

I met up with Jill and Jeff on Monday for their engagement session in Cushing Memorial Park in Framingham. What an awesome place for a photo shoot! There were zillions of places to take photos, and I have to admit I was overwhelmed by all of the possibilities! I think the bleachers were my favorite – I could have done an entire shoot right there. Jill and Jeff were great, and I am really looking forward to their wedding in July 2012! Thanks to Shawn for carrying my stuff and for a couple of the photos below.
